One way we could explain our admissions criteria would be to describe a typical resident in our program. For example:
We
look for bright, motivated medical students with a dedication to academics. We also however, want a well-rounded
individual. Interests outside of the residency program are important, along with a strong desire to be involved
in community events.
Our residents come from diverse backgrounds, which enhances our academic environment.
For Foreign Medical School graduates, both J-1 visas and H1-B visas are accepted.
Application Process
All applications are processed through ERAS. We evaluate applications starting September 1. If
your application is considered competitive, you will be invited for an interview.
