Dr. Baum was in private practice for 8 years before joining the
Internal Medicine Residency Program in 1995. She earned her
B.S. degree at the University of Cincinnati and her M.D. degree
at the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. She
completed her internal medicine residency training at our Canton
Medical Education Foundation residency in 1987. She serves as
an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Northeastern Ohio
Universities College of Medicine. She completed a Primary Care
Faculty Development Fellowship Program at Michigan State
University in June 1997. She is Medical Director at Bethany
Nursing Home in Canton, Ohio and became a certified Medical
Director in 2003. She has a longitudinal nursing home rotation
for the internal medicine residents. Dr. Baum is medical
director for the Mercy Medical Center and Aultman Ambulatory
Clinics. Her interests include geriatrics, ambulatory care and
health maintenance.
